Cases can last more than a year, but most are completed in about 4 months. You will usually be required to make 3 to 4 appearances, but the number can be higher.
What happens if I miss a court appearance?
Usually, the judge will issue a bench warrant, you’ll be arrested and obtain a new charge of Failure to Appear.
